The common valves you find on scuba tanks are so called K-valves, which is the recreational standard. The valve consists of a simple knob for on and off. On the opposite side, sits a so called burst disk which prevents the tank from overfilling. In recreational diving we find two different systems for mounting your regulator and if you only used one so far, I’ll explain you the other a little bit more in detail.
