In the Physiology part we discuss the different effects of gases like Nitrogen and Oxygen. You will learn how to avoid their threads and you will know how to treat accidents involving those gases. To avoid hazards for your students, as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor you need to know when specific gases are becoming toxic. This has everything to do with partial pressure. This is also a big topic in the PADI Enriched Air Nitrox course.
First, we will have a look at another law which lets us calculate the partial pressure to determine how deep we can go with a specific gas blend.
